A LITTLE ABOUT ME

For the love of a
good story.

Christopher Watne is an author, husband, father, and lifelong lover of stories. His Christian faith and love of family are foundational to his life, shaping not only what he believes but also how he approaches relationships, responsibility, leadership, and storytelling.

Christopher believes that faith should be reflected in the way people live, the choices they make, and the grace they extend to others. His writing frequently explores questions of character, courage, forgiveness, accountability, and the consequences of our decisions. While not every book is explicitly faith-centered, his Christian worldview provides a foundation for the values and themes that run throughout his work.

His books cross several genres, including suspense fiction, Christian fiction, historical adventures for younger readers, and leadership nonfiction. The Jimmy O’Neil Stories were inspired by childhood memories shared by his wife Elizabeth’s grandfather, who grew up in West Tennessee. Those stories became the foundation for fictional adventures celebrating family, humor, responsibility, and the lessons learned through everyday life.

His novel Grace Is Enough explores faith, wounded trust, and the journey toward healing. Lead with Heart: Build What Lasts examines leadership through the principles of service, accountability, stewardship, and developing others. His developing thriller Caldera explores Cold War secrets, hidden technology, and the difficult decisions people face when the stakes are high.

Christopher lives in Florida with his family and publishes through Ember Forge Press. Whether writing about an ordinary boy growing up in Tennessee or extraordinary circumstances beneath Crater Lake, he believes a good story should do more than entertain. It should offer something meaningful that stays with readers long after the final page.
