Caldera

Marvin Carver is the man people call when nothing else works. A secret government assignment is about to test his abilities, his loyalties, and everything he stands to lose.

A resourceful radio technician and devoted family man, Marvin Carver is accustomed to being needed. His talent for solving difficult problems has earned him the trust of powerful people, but it also pulls him away from his wife, Ellen, and their family. When a government assignment takes him into a secret Cold War operation in the Oregon wilderness, Marvin expects another demanding technical challenge. Instead, he discovers aging machinery, unanswered questions, and men who know more than they are willing to say. As the stakes rise, Marvin must decide whom to trust, how far to go, and what he is willing to risk for the people counting on him.
